Stefanie Andersen (DJ Step1) is a co-owner and instructor at Sequence One Music School in Oakland, California. She’s been DJing for 15 years and has been using Ableton Live for over a decade. In 2007, she established herself as a fixture in the turntablist world with the release of "Bikini Wax," the first scratch record ever produced by female DJs. She’s known for her performances that combine live production on the Push 2, finger drumming, and turntablism.
Stefanie co-organizes the Bay Area Ableton User Group in San Francisco, and she also volunteers in schools to teach music production to kids.
